The story behind TrackIt Life
TrackIt Life started as a personal project. Alok wanted a simple way to track household finances without handing sensitive data to yet another SaaS platform that would mine it for insights, sell it to advertisers, or store it on servers he couldn't control.
What began as a budgeting spreadsheet evolved into something much more ambitious: a fully self-hosted, privacy-first platform that connects finances, fitness, groceries, and nutrition — all under one roof, all under your control.
Every design decision reflects the same principle: your data belongs to you. Financial figures are encrypted at rest. AI features use metadata only. The entire platform runs on EU infrastructure with no third-party data sharing.
